Accommodation and Facilities

Set within 19 hectares of natural beauty, Rocky Valley offers comfortable and versatile facilities designed for both groups and individuals. From youth, school, and church camps to leadership and team-building gatherings, our accommodation can host up to 132 people in a variety of settings. During Monday to Friday mornings, the facilities are also ideal for individual or group retreats, as well as day conferences, meetings, and seminars, making Rocky Valley a place where rest, connection, and purpose meet.

Capacity & Booking

  • Maximum capacity: 132 people

  • Group options:
    • One large group (minimum 100 people)
    • OR two smaller groups (56 and 76 people)

  • Minimum weekend booking: 20 people

  • For groups under 100, sleeping facilities are private, but ablution facilities may be shared

  • Exclusive-use policy: Once maximum capacity is reached, groups will not share with others

  • Accommodation-only option: Two log cabins can be booked if available

  • Compulsory with bookings: Hall + kitchen hire

Sleeping Accommodation

  • Leader Houses (2):
    • Sleep 6 each
    • 2 single beds per room
    • Bathroom (shower, toilet, basin)
    • Lounge area

  • Rondavels (10):
    • Sleep 10 each
    • 3 triple bunk beds + 1 single bed
    • Separate ablution blocks (showers, toilets, basins)

  • Log Cabins (2):
    • Sleep 10 each
    • 5 double bunk beds
    • 2 bathrooms (shower, toilet, basin)

  • Wheelchair-friendly bathroom (toilet + basin)

Halls & Kitchens

  • Halls:
    • 2 large halls available

  • Kitchens (2):
    • Gas stove/oven
    • 3-plate boiler station
    • Fridge
    • 3-division Bain-Marie

Outdoor Facilities

  • Playing field (soccer, volleyball, team activities)

  • Cold-water swimming pool

  • Picnic area with built-in braai alongside the stream

  • Scenic mountain walks

  • Open-air chapel

  • Space to relax and enjoy nature

  • Designated bonfire area for evening gatherings and fellowship
